Features

Situated on a lovely, tree-lined block steps from Chestnut Street and the Marina Green’s coveted waterfront expanse, 1756 North Point offers a quiet respite amongst bustling city life. Beautifully merging period details with modern-day amenities, classic Rousseau-style residence is punctuated by a generous bay window at the façade. Across the threshold, a quaint entryway leads upward into an expansive, house-like condominium soaked in natural light.

Beyond the front door, rich hardwood floors run throughout the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. Encompassing approximately 2,000 square feet, a spacious foyer opens into a stately living room. A beautiful decorative fireplace is the focal point of the room, framed in an ornate hearth. The voluminous space is a symphony of details, delicate wainscoting blending beautifully with plantation shutters, crown molding, and soaring ceilings.

Past the living room lies a formal dining room, sunny, skylight-clad kitchen, cozy breakfast nook with custom built-ins, and a set of French doors that lead to a center patio perfect for lazy morning lattes and the Sunday crossword. Two, light-filled bedrooms are situated on the main level, the master accompanied by an en-suite bath that boasts marble touches and modern conveniences.

An expansive lower level with adjacent bathroom doubles as a family room or third bedroom. Beyond the French doors, a lemon-tree lined deck gives way to a stunning backyard bordered in lush foliage and finished with an outdoor seating area perfect for cocktails al fresco. Furnished with in-unit laundry, abundant storage, and a large garage with side-by-side parking, 1756 North Point offers everything the modern urbanite could want, with the warmth, comfort, and traditional touches of family living.

Neighborhood

Marina District

The Marina neighborhood of San Francisco is one of the most desirable districts in the city. With astounding views of the Golden Gate rising over the Marin Headlands, this is where the city and the bay come together. Life in the Marina implies life by the sea, with all the romance it evokes, giant exotic yachts, magnificent sunsets, and breathtaking parks. Lovers of the outdoors populate the many hiking and running trails which line the waterfront, taking in the sun drenched views and the wide open bucolic expanse of Marina Green. This magnificent park is in steady use by kite fliers, volleyball lovers, and frisbee experts alike. There are some high quality sports retailers nearby to help outfit the exercise minded residents.

Just steps away you'll find the awe-inspiring Palace of Fine Arts, an exquisite garden and classic structure reminiscent of Roman Temples which was designed by Bernard Maybeck in 1915. Here you'll find a much needed oasis of serenity in an otherwise hectic city. The rotunda, powerful columns and introspective lagoon are a select location for wedding parties and an often repeated image for travel magazines.

East of the Marina one finds a set of dock buildings, a former Army outpost, which have become central to the cultural life of the area, known as Fort Mason. It currently houses an extraordinary cultural arts center - full of galleries, dance performance spaces and a theater. A one-of-a-kind famers market resides here weekly, as does an annual food and wine festival that attracts thousands of foodees from all across the Bay.

Nowhere in the city does waterfront life come together so perfectly with vibrant city culture and world-class restaurants. Don't miss the inspiring Marina District.
